🚨EARTHQUAKE ALERT: Earthquake Shakes Papua New Guinea Coast

LAE, PAPUA NEW GUINEA – July 22, 2025 – A magnitude 5.8 hit 100 km (62 mi) away from Lae, Morobe Province, , in the early morning of Tuesday, Jul 22, 2025 at 2.41 am local time (GMT +10).

The quake had a moderate of 102 km (63 mi) and was felt widely in the area. The German Research Centre for Geosciences ( ) reported.
