I meet alot of people through SC, and I also meet alot of people while navigating life's roughest seas. Meet Elizabeth, a beautiful woman I met at Kimbe General Hospital in 2020. I remember taking my now 5yr old daughter to the Children's outpatient after she couldn't keep milk in her stomach a condition known as Pyloric Stenosis and whilst I was sitting with my mum Elizabeth walked in with her little girl in a carrier. Mind you, Kimbe is a small town and growing up there it's either you know people by name or by their face.hehe so Elizabeth looked like she was from out of town and I couldn't help but wonder about her story. The same afternoon we were both sent to the Children's ward for admission with our kids and we ended up hanging out whenever the little ones slept after getting their medications and falling asleep. I got to know her personally, she warmed up to my parents who visited everyday and we were basically family. I told her SC was my page and that I bead, and she told me her label is Bushmeri and she sews😊 We promised to keep in touch after my daughter was discharged a day after her pyloromyotomy surgery and we never stopped since then. She purchased a few earrings I posted and as I always do when I have extras I make I gifted her this pair so she can wear😍 It's been great seeing her again, she is well, my daughter finally got to meet her again, this time knowing who she is and I'm so glad I get to share my stories through SC as well as the beaded stuff I make❤️
