Con múltiples contratos en desarrollo en Quellaveco, la presencia en terreno permite alinear esfuerzos, dar seguimiento a la operación y reconocer el compromiso de quienes hacen posible cada avance.
Estos espacios permiten mantener una conexión directa con los equipos y reforzar la forma en que trabajamos en campo.

Recently, our Executive Vice President, John Tamayo, visited the Quellaveco project, where he connected with the teams driving different work fronts on site.
With multiple contracts underway at Quellaveco, being present in the field allows us to stay aligned, follow up closely on operations, and recognize the commitment behind every milestone.
These visits help us stay connected to our teams and to how work gets done on site.

El viernes pasado celebramos nuestro evento anual de reconocimiento, un espacio que pone en valor a los colaboradores que, a lo largo del año, han destacado por vivir los valores que nos definen como organización.
Este encuentro fue una oportunidad para conocer historias, compartir experiencias y reconocer el impacto que nuestros colaboradores generan cada día, junto a sus familias, quienes también fueron parte de este momento tan especial.
En STRACON, nos enorgullece contar con personas que hacen de nuestra cultura una forma real de trabajar, reflejada en cada decisión, en cada equipo y en cada proyecto.

Last Friday, we held our annual recognition event, a space dedicated to honoring those who, throughout the year, have stood out for truly living the values that define us as an organization.
This gathering was an opportunity to share stories, exchange experiences, and recognize the impact our people make every day—together with their families, who were also part of this special moment.

STRACON obtuvo el primer lugar en el concurso Yanapanakuy “Cuidarse entre todos”, reconocimiento otorgado por Anglo American Quellaveco a la mejor gestión en Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional durante el cuarto trimestre de 2025 en el proyecto Quellaveco Presa.
Este resultado marca el tercer reconocimiento consecutivo para el equipo en esta categoría y refleja la consistencia en la aplicación de altos estándares de seguridad en la operación. Felicitamos al equipo de Quellaveco por su compromiso con una operación segura y responsable.

STRACON secured first place in the Yanapanakuy “Cuidarse entre todos” competition, a recognition granted by Anglo American Quellaveco for the best Occupational Health and Safety management during the fourth quarter of 2025 at the Quellaveco Presa project.
This result marks the team’s third consecutive recognition in this category and reflects the consistent application of high safety standards across the operation. We congratulate the Quellaveco team for their commitment to maintaining a safe and responsible operation.

El pasado 7 de marzo se llevó a cabo la presentación del libro “La magia de los Andes de San Marcos”, una iniciativa desarrollada por STRACON que reúne 30 relatos escritos por colaboradores de la comunidad, quienes comparten leyendas y tradiciones locales transmitidas de generación en generación.
La ceremonia contó con la participación de autores del libro, representantes de la comunidad y prensa local, quienes se reunieron para celebrar esta iniciativa que busca preservar y difundir la memoria cultural de los pueblos del distrito de San Marcos.
Este proyecto pone en valor las historias, tradiciones e identidad de las comunidades con las que compartimos nuestro trabajo, y busca promover una iniciativa sostenible en el tiempo que contribuya a preservar y difundir la cultura local.

On March 7, the presentation of the book “La magia de los Andes de San Marcos” took place, an initiative developed by STRACON that brings together 30 stories written by members of the local community, sharing legends and traditions passed down through generations.
