Quiero invitarlos este 13 de diciembre a las 20:30 en a un especial concierto que daré donde estaré proyectando mi más reciente obra de animación musical “Nelumbo”, cantando y tocando en vivo algunas de mis canciones y compartiendo libros y vinos con ustedes 📚 🍷.

Sobre Nelumbo:
Nelumbo es una metáfora del proceso difícil pero esencial de renacimiento personal tras una ruptura o el cierre de una etapa importante en la vida . La flor de loto es su símbolo: el florecimiento que ocurre únicamente después de atravesar aguas turbias, estancadas, dolorosas. Y Nelumbo trata sobre eso, la importancia de abrazar la vulnerabilidad, la tristeza, los miedos propios de cada etapa, y transformar todo eso en el combustible que permite volver a abrirse al mundo.

I made this comic after reading a quote while browsing through Pinterest which said: When you are born you are like a single drop of water, flying upward separated from the one giant consciousness. You get older, you descend back down, you die, you land back into water.

These days I keep on thinking about how much time we spend in the present, as obvious as it may sound. I keep on visiting spaces in my past, places, friendships, feelings. It all feels so surreal, as if somewhere in the timeline this moments are still happening, frozen in time, this me is still there in all these periods of my life. The past is continuous, I keep on sliding through life leaving a timeline behind. Yet I always find myself in the present.
I bump into other people’s timelines,sometimes for longer periods sometimes for just a second, we are all together in an individual journey.
