Buenos Aires is a city made to be explored on foot — and that’s something we absolutely love.
The first time we visited, someone told us a place was “just nearby”… about 20 blocks away. That’s when we realized: that’s totally normal here, and honestly we get it now.
Walking around Buenos Aires is so special — tree-lined streets, cobblestones, little cafés on every corner, classic bodegones everywhere. You just keep walking and suddenly you find somewhere you want to sit, have a coffee, or order something to eat.
If you’re only in Buenos Aires for a few days, here’s a tiny guide from us.
Of course, there are the iconic spots like the Obelisk and Plaza de Mayo — the classics you’ve probably already heard about
Caminito and San Telmo are also on that list, but they’re two places we genuinely love going back to.
San Telmo has that old soul energy. It’s one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city and strongly connected to tango culture — you’ll often see people dancing in the streets.
You’ll find antique shops, artisan stalls, historic buildings, and of course the famous market, where you can grab a delicious choripán.
And speaking of food — as true foodies, we’ve already shared a list of our favorite restaurants… but there’s one thing you absolutely cannot miss here: ice cream. Buenos Aires takes its ice creams very seriously, and you’ll find incredible heladerías all over the city.
And lastly — taking the Tren de la Costa and getting off in San Isidro is a MUST. Have breakfast at La Valiente, walk around the ecological reserve, visit the Pueyrredón Museum, see the cathedral, and just wander through the cobblestone streets and little parks.
That’s Buenos Aires for us. Walking, eating, discovering, repeating.

Food is a big part of how we travel.
Experiencing local cuisine is a cultural adventure, so we’ve selected our favorite bars, cafés, and restaurants of Huaraz, places we truly love and personally recommend, where flavors, atmosphere, and views come together.
Because beyond being a travel agency, we travel as foodie explorers.
