EN: Our winning project of the Emprende Tourism Program - Mincetur, which is the opening of a new tourist route called "The Route of Textile Art in Huilloc", seeks to revalue Textile Art in the Indigenous Community of Huilloc and boost the economy of Huilloc and Maras .

We have successfully developed the project thanks to the support of Turismo Emprende, the Ttica Hina Ahuaq Warmicuna Artisans Association of the Huilloc Indigenous Community, Official Tourism Guides, and the team of Chaska Tours, who were trained in: Biosafety protocols, customer service, importance of community tourism, organizational structure of production costs and market plan.

Now we invite you to enjoy this new route by doing bicycle tours and walks in the Andean valleys visiting the Colpas of Cheqoc, the church of Tiobamba, Moray, Ollantaytambo, ventures of women artisans from Maras until you reach the Indigenous Community of Huilloc, where you can see the entire process of making textiles with ancient techniques. We are waiting for you!

ES: Nuestro proyecto ganador del Programa de Turismo Emprende - Mincetur, que es la apertura de una nueva ruta turística denominada “La Ruta del Arte Textil en Huilloc”, busca revalorizar el Arte Textil en la Comunidad Indígena de Huilloc y dinamizar la economía de Huilloc y Maras.

Hemos desarrollado el proyecto exitosamente gracias al apoyo de Turismo Emprende, la Asociación de Artesanos Ttica Hina Ahuaq Warmicuna de la Comunidad Indigena de Huilloc, Guías Oficiales de Turismo, transportistas y todos los colaboradores de Chaska Tours, a quienes se les capacitó en temas de: Protocolos de Bioseguridad, atención al cliente, importancia del turismo comunitario, estructura organizativa de costos de producción y plan de mercado.

Ahora les invitamos a disfrutar esta nueva ruta realizando tours en bicicleta y caminatas en los valles interandinos visitando las Colpas de Cheqoc, la iglesia de Tiobamba, Moray, Ollantaytambo, emprendimientos de mujeres artesanas de Maras hasta llegar a la Comunidad Indigena de Huilloc, donde podrán ver todo el proceso de la elboracion de textiles con técnicas ancestrales. ¡Les esperamos!
