Recent study in Choccepuquio. The village of Choccepuquio is a Quechua farming community located in the district of Ocobamba, in the province of Chincheros, in the Apurímac region of Peru.
Literacy is especially important for Quechua women because it provides greater access to education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and the ability to advocate for their families and communities. It also helps preserve and strengthen the Quechua language and cultural identity for future generations. Many Quechua-speaking women in rural Peru have historically faced barriers to education, making literacy programs a powerful tool for empowerment and meaningful participation in society.

Had a great time working with the children of Tupicocha. They enjoyed activities like games, music, puppets, Bible storytelling, and testimony presentations. We were also able to share the gospel with them and give out bracelets from ministry, along with warm hats and clothing for the little ones.

On April 8th, we went to a school in Chaclacayo to minister to the children through our puppet ministry. We were able to perform a puppet show, tell stories, and share the gospel with them. We’re so thankful to the team for coming alongside our team and spending time with the kids.

Participants received a Bible in Quechua in the recent workshop in the village of Chuschi (Cangallo, Ayacucho). Despite hardships, the community remains faithful. 📖
