Happy International Artist Day! 🥳 International Artist Day has been created so that we can celebrate the incredible world of art and all of the amazing and creative work that artists around the world carry out. We should all take a moment to reflect on the incredible impact that art has had on us and the world around us.

This will be well worth a visit, and not just because there is some of my work in it.

Just to show I have truly been busy, here is one of the projects I have been working on lately and finally got installed. These two plates now reside in a lovely home in Lyall Bay, Wellington. The most rewarding part of this for me was seeing the beaming smiles on the couple who commissioned them once they were in place. Satisfaction all around.

Managed to keep a little busy during lockdown and finish these two groups off. They are ready to go out into the world now. One group of forms has a copper finish on the surface. It is created by cooling and reheating the glass with a gas fired torch, producing the lustered finish.
And then there is a little golden yellow, with a hint of green, Family group. They do brighten the studio up. Maybe they could do the same for your place.
