New this week: the next Cali Cryptid IPA, a dreamy triple hazy, and a bonus collab brewed with our mates across the ditch. Get it in ya!

Fresno Nightcrawler, West Coast IPA - 7.2%

A hoppy homage to the craziest cryptid of all. The Fresno Nightcrawler, described by startled eye witnesses as a glowing pair of disembodied legs, stumbling drunkenly through the darkness. Heavy hitters Chinook, Centennial, Mosaic and Strata deliver a classic West Coast punch in this crisp IPA loaded with pine resin, white grapefruit citrus, blueberry (and just a little hint of jazz cabbage). The truth is out there.

Funambulation for Somnambulists, Triple Hazy IPA - 9%

Tightrope walking for sleepwalkers. Decadent Triple hazy IPA. Soft pillowy layers of malted barley, wheat and oats, double dry hopped with Citra, Nectaron and Krush perform a daring highwire balancing act of patisserie sweets saturated with juicy orange and grapefruit citrus, guava and mango hop character. You can wake up, but don’t look down!

Westbound, Sparkling Ale - 5%

A bonus collaboration borne from the NZ hop harvest 2026. Brewed with our friends from Margaret River Brewhouse (Western Australia) during their autumn visit to our shores, this sparkling ale combines a light malt base with whole-cone wet hops to deliver a refreshing and undemanding drop. We made this in our tanks at Leeds St, so it’s only available in limited quantities, on tap - head to a GP venue to “get it in ya”, as the Aussies would say.

There’s a special little place in Nelson that has our hops and our hearts: Nelson Lakes.

It’s a two-hour drive from the hop fields of Nelson, including half an hour on a long gravel road down the Tūtaki Valley. Just when you’ve almost given up hope of there ever being any hops at the end of the drive, you pop out of the ancient beech forest and there it is.

Nestled on the river plain where the Tūtaki and Mātakitaki rivers meet, surrounded by forest-clad, snow-capped mountains, sits what must be one of the world’s most spectacular hop farms. Even thick clouds of sandflies can’t take away the magic of this spot.

Every harvest, we make the pilgrimage to pick up these special hops, and one of the fruits of this year’s harvest is Skinny Dipper.

Skinny Dipper is a Nelson Lakes Hazy IPA. Motueka, Cascade and Nelson Sauvin bring juicy stone fruit and bright citrus notes to a lush, smooth hazy base that’s as refreshing as a moonlit dip.

It’s naughty, but it’s nice.
