Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland friends! You have two weeks left to enjoy the Miki Rapu Waiata: Taonga collaboration between Geneva AM, Binge Culture, PickPath and the Matariki Festival. It's an app-guided audio treasure hunt around the waterfront where you will uncover hidden tracks, including archival recordings of well-known waiata Māori provided by Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision and new covers with a contemporary twist.
Miki Rapu Waiata: Taonga An eye-catching installation in Te Komititanga Plaza will alert passersby to Miki Rapu Waiata: Taonga, an app-based audio experience audiences can choose to do at any time.
Check out this new video introducing the Te Huanui a Māui experience that's now available at Te Papa. It shows rangatahi on the experience in the Te Taiao | Nature exhibition and gives you some background on the PickPath platform and what museums, galleries, historic places and tourism organisations can do with it (with a little imagination).
