Out Of The Blue

If you came to see our Out Of The Blue exhibition, on entering you would have seen this stunning floral work by 'Oh Mai Botanicals'

The floral installation was entirely edible! Here is a little bit about Mairead from Oh Mai Botanicals..

After a change Mairead's career in her mid 20s from Nurse to Rousey to Florist, she then went on to freelance for Florists throughout NZ, Australia, Italy, London, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

In an industry that can be quite wasteful and unsustainable she always looks for ways to improve her practices to support a healthy global future.

Oh Mai Botanical is inspired by the unusual, seasonal, organic, native, foraged and scented plants that can be used for a creative purpose.

Here is a little bit about Kirsten and her Queensrown based photography business, Organica Photography...

Organica Photography is a sustainable product and branding photographer, who works with energy to create emotive imagery, with an earthy natural feel. Kirsten will leave no trace when shooting in the wild, and plant trees to offset her carbon emissions (all her work is digital to avoid the environmental impact of print).

Her work promotes eco brands who are saving the world, as she wants to help work towards making universal change. She creates an organic symbiosis with her photos, and often shoots either outside, or using natural plants and textured backgrounds in the studio.
