Over the next two days our school grounds will be closed to the public as we have tree maintenance occurring around the school.

Also, we have asbestos removal in an isolated area of the school.

🌿 Tararua Rōpū at Kaitoke Regional Park 🌿

What an awesome day out for our Tararua Rōpū at Kaitoke Regional Park! Our ākonga had the opportunity to explore the beautiful natural surroundings, learn more about the history of the Tararua region, and strengthen their connection to our rōpū name.

It was fantastic to see our students showing resilience, teamwork, and curiosity throughout the day as they tackled the walking tracks and enjoyed the outdoors together.

A huge thank you to our parent helpers and staff who supported us and helped make the trip such a success. We would also like to give a special thank you to park rangers Steve and Zane for guiding us through the park and sharing their knowledge about the Tararua ranges, their history, and the strong connection they have to Kaitoke Regional Park. Your knowledge and passion helped bring our learning to life.

Days like these create meaningful learning experiences and lasting memories for our ākonga.
