Freddie and the Treelands team out at the Cambridge Velodrome, crown lifting the Cherry trees along the cycle path and footpath. By raising the canopy we've improved the aesthetics of the area, while also making it safer and more enjoyable for cyclists and pedestrians. Great to see the space looking lighter, tidier, and safer for everyone.

Crown lifting allows more light under the canopy which encourages increased pasture growth beneath the tree while still retaining shelter for stock. A bonus is that it also creates clearance for tractors and other machinery required for pasture maintenance. No more damaged branches or equipment and a healthy well maintained tree🙂

As part of our on going committment to our environment, for every mature tree we remove, we donate a native tree, planted right here in the Waikato through Trees That Count. Today we added another 58 trees to that count on behalf of our clients and Treelands. Proud to be a part of something big!
