Communicate Powerfully

This is Raghu.
Quiet. Kind. Analytical.
The guy who used to slip into Communicate Powerfully sessions like a gentle whisper.

He joined the programme wanting one thing: To feel more confident connecting with people at work. No big “fix me” story. Just a shy human wanting to stretch.

Halfway through the course he pulled me aside and said, “I won’t be at the final celebration… I’m getting married.” (In India, a massive, beautiful celebration.)

But here’s the part that floored me.

During the course, Raghu started opening up.
Sharing more of himself.
Letting people in, in our workshops and in his team.
Trusting - even when it felt awkward and vulnerable.

And because of that?

Seven of his teammates - who barely knew the real Raghu at the start of the year - booked flights, took leave, and travelled to India to celebrate his wedding with him.

Seven. Humans. Who chose connection.
Who showed up for their mate. Because he showed up to them first.

This is why we do this work. This is why Communicate Powerfully exists.
Not for “better meetings” or “less misunderstanding” (though those are great).

But for moments like this - when someone finds the courage to be seen…and discovers they were supported all along.

These are the people who not only listen to your seemingly crazy ideas, but ask "How can I help?"

They ask questions, offer suggestions, give honest feedback - I'm grateful to have these people as my cheersquad.📣

In 2022, we were camping with this group of gorgeous humans and I said "I've got an idea for a game...wanna play?" I then bring out a camping bowl with all kinds of questions on ripped up pieces of paper and thanks to their encouragement and the talents of my amazing brother Mark Glenn, who did all the design - "Below the Surface" was born.

Heading into three years on, I use as a tool in my business, I use it when conference speaking and in workshops. I've not spent a cent on marketing it 😬 and I now get emails and DMs saying..
🕑 'My husband and I were up til 4am playing your game. We love it.'
🫶 'We play a round before our weekly team meeting. Now everyone comes into the office, rather than joining online because they want to spend time together.'
And many others. It's a bloody good feeling. ☺️
