What an awesome day we’ve been having today learning new recipes + financial and budgeting skills that will benefit us in the future 😁

Thank you to all our whānau, friends and special guests/visitors that popped into to show some love and support today ✨

We are having a Cake Stall on Thursday 12pm-2pm all made with aroha 😋👍

If you like you can have a cuppa and cake for $2.00 per person

You will be able to buy some baking, hot fried bread and cakes

All funds riased will go towards our Fish n Chips on Friday 👌

Our steam hangi team went to prepare our kai, working by the thermal ngawha and steam is very dangerous but we can do it safely if we listen and follow our elders

Matua Haz and Matua Jason had seven tama all learn something, lay the cabbage and ruruhau leaves, then the chicken, pork, mutton and vegetables on top plus the stuffing and cover up for approx 2 hours

Our kai was so delicious 😋 we devoured almost everything

Let's keep teaching our next generation 👍

We took a hikoi along the Mangakakahi Stream for our first day

This was 1.9km, we looked at some kai along the way we could see growing

Then we had a forage in the stream getting rocks and exploring 👌

Hey whānau - it's Te Reo o Te Wiki so have been busy putting our plans together for the Holidays

Due to popular demand we are heading to Maketu and this time we have booked a bus WOOOHOOO 🚌🚌🚌🚌

Get your buckets ready cos we want to take heaps home for the whānau
