Celebrating Matariki at Treetops 🫶 This week our tamariki have been celebrating Matariki through meaningful learning experiences that honour this special time of reflection, connection and new beginnings. Children have experienced waiata, dancing, Matariki inspired art and cooking with whānau. The children have embraced the experiences, stories, values and traditions of Aotearoa with curiosity and joy.
Matariki reminds us to reflect on the past, celebrate the present and look forward to the future with hope. It has been wonderful to see our tamariki learning together, sharing ideas, and strengthening their sense of belonging through these rich cultural experiences.
