Dear Reader hosted the book launch of Jeannie McLean's "Caught Between". A local writer of published YA books, this is Jeannie's first adult crime novel. Set in Auckland, the protagonist Tara Tan is the prime suspect in a homicide. She is caught between her personal history, family loyalties and police suspicions. Tara has to fight for survival in this gradually unfolding, well-written story.
