Sunday is not a day off. It is a setup day.

When you move abroad, something changes in the way you look at time. You stop thinking about today. You start thinking about the whole week. Because nobody is coming to save your Monday if you waste your Sunday.

Back in India, Sunday meant rest. Family lunch. Sleeping in. Someone else handling half the things you needed. That was the life. And there is nothing wrong with it.

But when you leave that behind and land in a new country with no safety net, Sundays become your most important day. Not because someone tells you to work harder. Because you realize that the way you spend your Sunday decides how your entire week goes.

Sixteen years in New Zealand taught me this. Discipline is not about the gym. The gym is the easy part. Everyone talks about gym discipline because it looks good on camera. But the real discipline? Nobody sees it. Nobody films it. It is the boring, repetitive, invisible work you do every single week without anyone clapping for you.

That is the immigrant mentality. You keep going because stopping is not an option. You do not have someone to fall back on. You do not have a backup plan waiting at home. You are the plan.

If you are abroad right now and you feel like Sundays never feel like Sundays anymore, that is not a bad thing. That is your mindset evolving before your life does. Trust the process.

$1200/week to $3000/week. ₹2.5 lakh to ₹6 lakh monthly. I did not chase clients. They came to me.

When I started full-time, I was doing 20-25 sessions a week. Today it is 70.

People started DMing me. Gym members approached me. Referrals started rolling in.

How?

First — I showed up every single day. Posted content. Built community.

Second — I listened. What the client wants, I understood. Not my agenda, their goal.

This is where new PTs fail. They forget sessions. They show up late. They are not punctual. Client loses trust once, they do not come back.

I built a simple system. Google Calendar. Add client email. Invitation sent. Reminder automatic. No session forgotten.

And retention? When a client sees results — message them. Sometimes take them out. Share their win in the community. Make them the hero.

This business is not about clients. This business is about relationships.

Episode 8 coming soon — how much I paid the gym and how long I stayed there.

Comment SYSTEM if you need to fix your booking process.

Every car tells a story.

This Ford Everest carried me through the grind when nobody was watching. Early mornings driving to the gym. Late nights coming home tired but proud. MK FIT on the plates because I believed in the vision before anyone else did.

This was the chapter where I built everything from scratch. No shortcuts. Just showing up.

To everyone still in their grind chapter. Your story is still being written.
