If you’re anything like me and this glorious weather is giving you the itch to get back in the saddle - I need a horse first, whereas you might just need to book a clip! 🪒

I am available for clipping in the Bream Bay Area - 10+ years of clipping experience with 5* eventers through to racehorses and pleasure mounts.

PM for pricing and to book.

*horses must be throughly washed, dried and confident being clipped otherwise additional charges apply.

📍Bream Bay, Northland

Are you an equestrian business owner struggling with your content? We get it.

In this industry, you’re time-poor. Your days are physical, unpredictable and often dictated by weather and workload. The last thing you want is to sit down and figure out what to post, let alone build a full strategy around selling your expertise or product.

So what usually happens is:
- Posting when you can (or when you feel you 'should')
- Sharing day-to-day moments without direction
- Relying heavily on word of mouth
And slowly, uncertainty starts to creep in.

At that point, social media becomes something you maintain, not something that actively grows your business. But when your content lacks clarity, consistency, and value-driven direction, it only ever scratches the surface of what it could actually do for your brand. You become visible, but not memorable. Engaging, but not converting.

When we analyse equestrian businesses, the same themes often appear. Marketing out of necessity and reacting to daily life rather than positioning themselves strategically. While consistency is important the truth is: content that converts isn’t about posting more. It’s about having direction behind what you post.

If you’ve read this far, comment 'CLARITY' below and I’ll DM you the three key things I’d recommend improving in your brands content 💌

As some of you may have noticed, we quietly stepped back for a while. Not because the work disappeared, but because life shifted focus and expanded in another direction; which saw us growing our family and welcoming our darling boy Shaun 🥰

While wrapped in our little bubble over the past few months, it has given me the chance to enjoy life at a different pace AND the opportunity to observe what’s been working (and what hasn’t) in the world of business and marketing.

In that space, two patterns have become very clear. AI is changing the playing field (a conversation for another day), and businesses are struggling. Not because they aren’t working hard enough. Businesses are working harder than ever. Instead, they’re struggling because their marketing isn’t structurally complementing and supporting their offerings.

Their social media presence is reactive, unclear and doesn’t reflect the depth of the story behind the business. It’s common to see the same thing - marketing built from activity and scarcity, not structure and positioning. Let’s be honest, we’ve all been there.

So I am setting out to position Emperor differently, with a fresh perspective. Focusing on clarity first, content second. Why? Because strategy, depth and intentional storytelling wins in a world overwhelmed by AI. Particularly for equestrian and lifestyle businesses, where trust is the foundation.

So I am excited to announce that over the coming weeks, our books will be opening to a small, select number of clients. If this post resonates with you, please reach out 💌
