Hello World! I’m back from maternitity leave.🤩 I’m excited to announce that I birthed… MY WANTS! It was a process, and the best I can compare it to is pregnancy, yes.

When the external world naturally ceases to exist and all your attention goes inwards as you grow a beautiful baby. Visibility from very different perspectives…

Well, in this case, I had no idea that I was growing something, I just knew I needed to take a break and slow down.

To my surprise, it all hit me by surprise.
To my surprise, it took me much longer than I thought.
To my surprise, I realised I had much more work to do with allowing myself to feel my grief than I thought I did.
And to my surprise, I realised that from my beautiful grief, I birthed my wants.

So it happened.
I pressed pause.
To go through grief.

The process took exactly 9 months.

Weirdly, my Mum died half way in. Some of you know how unexpected that came for me and how it made me reevaluate a whole lot of things in my life… Maybe that’s when all of the past months’ & years’ compiled grief became also really visible and tangible. Kind of when your pregnant belly literally starts to show…

Then the full 9 months passed. And I birthed my wants. It all happened in my birthday month. What a gift to myself.

I celebrated that everything can be a possibility. Like birthing my wants. 🤩😂
