🚛♻️ What an exciting surprise on our walk today! ♻️🚛
Our tamariki were thrilled to see the recycling truck making its regular collection. Of course, we had to stop, wave hello, and watch as the truck carefully emptied the recycling bins!
Experiences like these spark so much curiosity and learning. The children talked about what recycling is, why it's important to care for our environment, and how the truck helps keep our community clean. They were fascinated by the machinery and eagerly watched every step of the process.
Sometimes the best learning happens in everyday moments—taking time to stop, observe, ask questions, and connect with the people who help our community every day.

✨ Celebrating Matariki Together ✨
Yesterday our educators and tamariki from our Napier and Central Hawke's Bay playgroups came together to celebrate the special occasion of Matariki.
It was a wonderful morning filled with creativity, connection, and fun. Our tamariki enjoyed making beautiful star-inspired creations, sharing delicious kai, singing waiata, and spending quality time together with their friends, educators, and whānau.
Matariki is a time to reflect, celebrate, and look forward with hope, and it was so special to see our learning communities come together to honour this important occasion.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the celebrations so memorable. We hope you all enjoyed celebrating Matariki as much as we did. 🌟💙
