Hi guys,
It’s been a while since our last meeting but last night saw us have a crack at the NZ Grand Prix here at Meeanee.
First heat we were on grid 7 in a very strong field dominated by a lot of fast Aucklanders, luckily we avoided lots of carnage to come home in 12th.
Second heat we started off grid 10 only to have power loss 1/2 lap from home giving us an unfortunate DNF meaning we had to do the B-main to qualify for the final spots in the 20 lap feature. We raced well in the B-main and because of some technicality’s made the feature in grid 20. The car went really well in the 20 lap feature race and pedalled it home in 16th! It was a really good night out for our 1st GP, big thanks to Injection Motorcycle Repairs keeping us motoring and to everyone that came and supported from the stands. See you all out there again tonight for the Gold Cup 🏁

The car is now stripped down ready for some off-season love. Huge thank you to all those who helped out with the car over our first season, especially MGR Michael Gurnett Racing, Adam Coonan Racing and Kris Gillies, for your assistance and advice on and off race nights.
