The Shine Together Taieri Matariki constellation has begun to grow, and we are so excited to see these beautiful stars appearing in our office window!

Each star has been lovingly created by tamariki | children from across our Taieri schools and early childhood providers, and each one tells a story. 🌟

Our stars represent:
✨ hopes and wishes for the future
✨ moments of remembrance and people we hold close in our hearts
✨ the beauty of our Taieri environment and the places we love
✨ the things that bring us joy, connection and support our wellbeing

It is amazing to see all of these individual stars come together to create something that celebrates our tamariki | children, our community and the things that make the Taieri shine.

The display is only just beginning — more stars are still coming in, and you can still be part of it!

As part of her final-year studies at Otago Polytechnic, Alia has been exploring how people from different cultural backgrounds experience connection and engagement within the Mosgiel–Taieri community.

Every response helps build a richer understanding of the diverse experiences, strengths, and opportunities that exist across our community. It also helps support Alia in completing an important piece of research for her studies.

If you have a few minutes to spare, we'd love for you to take part before the survey closes at 12pm this Friday.
