Cook Strait Fishing Charters Ltd operates the vessel Seafarer II from Wellington running charter fishing trips in the Wellington/Mana/Kapiti area, and multi-day fishing trips to Durville Island and the Marlborough Sounds.

We are looking for suitable people to cover the position of Deckhand on our busy charter boat. To apply for this role you should possess...

- friendly out-going personality
- customer service ethic and experience
- boating and fishing experience
- be able to fillet and process fish
- first aid certificate
- be comfortable with early starts and late finishes. The nature of fishing means that the work involves irregular and at times long hours, reflected within the offered pay rate.

Due to the nature of Wellington weather the work hours fluctuate considerably, so work would be on a casual or contract basis.

Additional training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Monday 30 Sept, 10am-2pm 4hr harbour trip, $120pp.
