my true story with Taiji:
I got seriously sick at about 9 yrs ago. I couldn't fell into sleep at the whole night, for more than half a year. but the worse problem is doctors couldn't find anything wrong with all of their medical reports. finally I was prescribed millions of health-care medicine which didn''t help anything.
I thought it was time to challenge! what I did first was kept all of the medicine away from me! and started to play Taiji after have been suggested by my Professor who taught me at my university.
I suffered hugely at the beginning stage as I had never taken any physical exercise before. It almost made give up this f**ky difficult game! but fortunately I did it! in the recently 9 years, I had very rare opportunities to go to a hospital. being compared with my hight school time, I got familiar with lots of doctors in hospitals as a weekly regular hospital-goer.
and the amazing picture was 3 months after starting to play Taiji I felt recovering and about 6 months later, I got totally refreshed and met my darling who told me that she appreciates my confidence and beaming when I was playing Taiji.
the reason I play Taiji not only for its health purpose, but also, maybe more significant, for enjoy. As I found my flow (a psychological terminology) which means I am just immersed into the sport and forget myself, forget the time and space!
now I will play Taiji for a while, even 10 minutes whenever I feel tired, disappointed, distress, or unhappy. it refreshes me without asking any return!
Thanks Taiji for having given me a love, an well internal-balanced soul. basically Taiji has changed my life!
