To all my friends and family in your bubbles, We wish you a safe and Happy Easter. For those Christian faith this is a special and holy time of year, and following the sadness of Easter Friday, the central and profound message is one of hope. That even out of the most dire and bitter of experiences there can be re-birth and re-creation. That even those who are despised and rejected are loved, and that dawn follows the dark. Without labouring the point, there is wisdom we can draw from the Easter tradition to help guide us through the intense dislocation and worry of Covid-19. Most importantly I think that through this time there is an opportunity to reflect upon what is really important and to re-create something better out of this experience, rather than just returning to the old. Whatever your creed of world-view, many Easter blessings to you and those around you.
