We're Hiring – Foreman / 2IC – Taylor Engineering (Invercargill)

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable 2IC / Foreman to help lead our busy general engineering workshop and mobile service team.
If you’re hands-on, can run a team, and know your way around fabrication, field service, and job coordination – we want to hear from you.

About the Role
This is a key leadership role, working closely with the business owner to run the day-to-day operations of the workshop and field jobs. You’ll manage the team, coordinate job flow, solve problems on the fly, and ensure jobs are completed to spec, on time, and safely.
You’ll be the go-to person on the ground – confident in your trade, calm under pressure, and able to keep people and jobs moving.

What we’re after:
• 5+ years in general engineering or fabrication
• Leadership or foreman experience
• MIG, TIG, and Arc welding skills
• Good communicator and team leader
• Full NZ driver’s license
