Big changes coming: Holidays Act Reform 🔥

The new Employment Leave Act is likely to replace the Holidays Act 2003 at the end of this year, bringing major changes to leave calculations, record-keeping, and compliance.

Timeline:
📅 Introduced and passed it's first reading - March 2026
📅 Targeted to pass remaining readings and receive Royal assent - Late 2026
📅 New leave framework comes into force - Expected late 2028

Once passed, you'll have 24 months to get your contracts, policies, and systems sorted.
