I was really honored to make my baby nieces wedding cake on the weekend. We designed it together and stuffed it full of delicious flavours.

I love the way naked cakes all come together when you add the flowers and topper. It was a perfect complement to their rustic and relaxed wedding.

A big congratulations to Richard and Daria who were married on the weekend at Sorrento at One Tree Hill. This beautiful cake was a 3 teir Buttercream cake with fresh flowers.

They chose some delicious flavours:
Coconut and Lemon cake with Lemon Syrup and Lemon Buttercream Filling (Carl's new favorite)
Vanilla Cake with Raspberry Coulis and Vanilla Buttercream Filling

Yes! Check another cake off the wish list a 'Geode Cake'. Marbled fondant with gold veining and a crevice filled with delicious rock candy.

I whipped this cake up last night for one of the team at Carl's work.

I can finally show you these beautiful tasting cakes. The wedding was yesterday and I got to set the final cake up at the Hilton in Auckland CBD. These little cakes were great fun to make and experiment with.
