BUILDING APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITY

Our small, tight-knit team are looking for an apprentice, so if you know someone who you think would be keen and the right fit for us, please share this post with them.

We have been building quality homes, renos, and light commercial stuff around the Waikato for over 30 years. Most of our jobs come from word-of-mouth because we look after our customers well and enjoy our work. We're like a little family on site: good yarns, looking out for each other, the odd bit of ribbing here and there, teaching the ropes properly, and knocking off solid work without the big-corporate stress.

So if you’re:
• Pumped to gain high quality building skills
• Reliable, keen for hard but satisfying days’ work, and don't mind getting stuck in
• Happy working around the Waikato with the odd days away further afield
• And have your drivers licence
You'll get:
• Real mentorship from qualified builders who've been with us since beginning their own apprenticeships
• Varied jobs – lots of new homes and the odd renovation here and there
• A proper apprenticeship path
• Decent apprentice pay + tools help

No massive experience needed – just the right attitude and a willingness to learn. Spots don't come up often because once people join our team, they tend to stick around!

I didn’t plan on doing a major renovation on the place we brought a few years ago just out of Cambridge only to sell, however Whangamata has called earlier than planned so it's on the market.
