At the time it was built, the bridge was a major engineering achievement and remains one of Hamilton's most recognisable landmarks. Stretching approximately 139 metres, it links Fairfield with the central city and carries thousands of vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians every day.

Next time you cross the Fairfield Bridge, take a moment to appreciate the incredible history beneath your wheels. It's been helping Hamiltonians get from A to B for nearly 90 years!
