❄️ Cold Mornings = Lower Tyre Pressure ❄️

Here’s a real example from my own tyre pressure monitor 👇

These tyres were set at 40 PSI during the day, but with colder mornings coming in, you can see the pressure has dropped.

There are no leaks, it’s just physics.
Cold air = lower tyre pressure.

And here’s something most people don’t realise 👇

🚗 Low profile tyres drop more noticeably than higher profile SUV tyres.

Why?
They hold less air volume — so even a small temperature change has a bigger effect on pressure stability. As shown by my pressure sensors.

Heading into winter in Hamilton & the Waikato, this is when we start seeing more TPMS lights popping up.

• Higher fuel consumption
