Heres an Update of How I started

MY TRANSFORMATION JOURNEY
After 18 months of Training I am now a Qualified Personal Trainer
My Journey of Transformation started in September 2011. I was an almost 30 stay at home mother of 5. I had spent the past 10 years 120kg + either pregnant or breastfeeding lazing on the couch and eating rubbish. I was stuck in a rut, run down and miserable.
One day I woke up and thought I don't want to feel like that ever again, so I changed just like that!
Early September 2011 I Joined the Gym and weighed at my heaviest of 130kg.
The 1st week I lost 5kg from just mucking around at the gym. I Joined a 12 Week Weight Loss Challenge the next week to learn how to use the equipment and lose some more weight. 12 weeks later I took it out and won the Challenge, losing a further 27kg achieving my goal of double digits and by December 2011 I weighed in at 98kg.
I was on a roll and I loved it! I re-goaled and tracked my entire training. I Set daily and weekly targets and tried to stay focused on the goal at the end. Results = Motivation. I had found me a new addiction to replace the old ones. It was all about mind ova matter and I wasn't going to give in, I was finally in control of my life and my body.
March 2012 6months to the day I started I had lost 50kg and weighed a healthier 80kg. I went from a size 24 to a size 10-12. But you know what, I still wasn't happy. I was bony in places, skinny up top, skinny down bottom n still all out of shape in the middle. It was coming winter; I was cold and feeling all weak and vulnerable.
By May 2012 I weighed in at 74kg. When I started working for the gym as a cleaner, The in-house trainer had offered to mentor me and teach me how to weight train and build muscle. He trained me for 3months from a 4 day split weight programme. I learnt everything I needed to know.
I had found my new love. Weight Training made me feel like me again. I enjoyed the training and the results I got. Increased strength, increased size and a toned shape. I was feeling AMAZING and I wanted to help others feel this way to!
So I decided I wanted to be a Personal Trainer. I had learnt it all a bit backwards. Weight Loss then Weight Training I wanted to know the theory behind it to. So I enrolled in to the Certificate in Personal Training at NZIHF 6 months ago.
Today on the 1st of May 2013 I weigh in now at a healthy 80kg and have built on my muscular tone. I celebrate my 1st year anniversary of Weight Training, My 1st year employment and now Iβm officially a Qualified Personal Trainer to!
I enjoyed learning more. It all makes perfect sense to me now. I was my own guinea pig. I know what works because I've been there and done that.
Now I can speak from experience. I know how hard it is. I know the 1st step is scary but you never look back because the body is just the bonus. The confidence and mental strength I've gained from training was well worth it!

This is what 1 YEAR of consistency looks like πͺπ½
No flash diets
No excessive workout routines
No extra gym memberships
Just BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER & 2-3L WATER - DAILY
2 X TPT PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS - WEEKLY
1-2 TPT GROUP WALKS up HAKS - MONTHLY
& Nothing ELSE ππ½
In just over a year FINN has
LOST 14.4KG ON SCALE
& IS DOWN 13.1 % IN BODY FAT
FINN started training with me AUG 2017 @ 100.4 KG & 22.3% BF
& before we finished up last year 4 Xmas
FINN weighed in DEC 2018 @ 86.0 KG & 9.1% BF
FINN has done amazing πͺπ½
1 thing that made the biggest difference is his CONSISTENCY & DILIGENCE, never missing a PT session & not once giving up π€π½
His results were slow but gradual & now 1 year later he can reap the benefits of all his hard work
As great as his weightloss results are, there is no better feeling then helping someone become the person they were made to be ππ½
FINN went from a shy overweight unemployed uni dropout to a fit healthy confident full time working man
