Look, I’m under no illusions that tutoring is something children always necessarily WANT, but it’s very often something they do NEED. The payoff comes when the child realises how far they’ve come, what they can now do that they once couldn’t. And that comes from setting a goal, persistently working towards it, doing homework and applying themselves.
