Studio Tula

We are so excited to be welcoming Christy Priors classes to Studio Tula! And what a timely week to be able to put the word out to you about this, as we celebrate this weeks NZ gold olympic medal!
Christy is an Olympic pro snowboarder and a YTT500hr qualified yoga teacher. Throughout her professional snowboarding career, she has sought out ways to counteract the high demands and pressures that come with [life.. but also] being a professional athlete. Christy gives back to her physical body through her yoga practice and soothes her mind through rest and relaxation practices.
Christy specialises in teaching vinyasa, yin, yin-yang, and meditation classes.
In Christys own words:
"Yoga [and mediation] has had a huge impact on both my physical and mental well-being and continues to help me be the best athlete and best version of myself that I can be.
I am passionate about sharing the tools I have acquired from my 17 years of yoga experience and to encourage a deeper connection to oneself."
Beginning in September, Christy will be running 6 & 12-week group block yoga courses at Tula, to help encourage students to build consistency and to develop their practice in a safe and supportive environment.
