On 14 August, the two National Science Challenges hosted at the University of Otago – Ageing Well and Healthier Lives – collaborated for the final time in a Legacy event for the University of Otago community.
The Legacy Event featured different perspectives of the mahi of Ageing Well and Healthier Lives: from directors, to Chairs, and to the research teams themselves.
We were fortunate to have Katrina Bryant and her team from Taurite Tū to share their personal stories of how Taurite Tū has positively impacted their lives. Ngā mihi nui!

At our recent symposium, we featured many different speakers from around the country, who identified the achievements of our organisation and facilitated further conversations about the shared priorities for our work.
Additionally, we planted many seeds for the future of ageing well in Aotearoa New Zealand.
