A little more info about next weekend’s event, get amongst it!

Hoping for a good turnout and good behaviour from drivers & attendees so we can do something like this again

Next weekend we have the Latta Performance Dukes Rd Standing 1/8th Mile Drag

📝 Documentation and Scrutineering: 9.00am – 10.00am at the OSCC Van.

🏎️ VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
* A Car with rego and WoF is the best option, but if this is not you can still enter as long as your vehicle meets all the requirements below. If you don’t have WoF or Rego, car must be trailered to and from the event.

ALL VEHICLES MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW
* Steering; no loose steering wheels or components.
* Brakes; make sure they work and the pedal ain’t on the floor!
* Loose or protruding objects from bodywork will be turned away (exhaust poking out of bonnets excessively, guards hanging on with cable ties, tyres/wheels hanging out etc).
* Doors must open and close from the inside and out.
* Driver must have safe functioning seat belt.
* Must have a cover over the positive terminal on battery and battery secured.
* No dripping oil leaks.
* No EV’s or Hybrids, unfortunately we’re not able to safely look after you.
* Car seats and other loose objects must be removed from car.
* Must have dot rated tyres, no slicks
* No Nitrous
* A muffler in your exhaust is mandatory, no straight pipes… yes, we know, but rules are rules

👤 DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
* A helmet (check the standards for these under schedule a part one of the motorsport manual section 4.1)https://motorsport.org.nz/wp-content/uploads/Schedule-A-Part-One.pdf
* Clean 100% cotton overalls and nothing burnable under them, no polyester nylon etc.
* Enclosed leather or cotton shoes

* On the day, please listen to all marshal’s directions including where to park.
* If we can keep burnouts to a minimum would be great, just to try help the event to be able to be run again in the future!
