For Addison and Peter, the intention was always to create a wedding that felt natural, organic and quietly minimal. At its heart, the day was less about aesthetics and more about the people who had supported and encouraged them throughout their relationship, and who would continue to stand beside them in marriage. Thoughtfully considered and deeply personal, their celebration was designed to feel as meaningful to their guests as it was to them.

TJ Real Wedding - Sophie + Charlie by Sydney Marie Photography We wanted our guests to feel like true witnesses to our marriage and to recognise the role each person has played in our lives. The entire wedding was so special, but our ceremony was my favourite. I felt so present and connected to Charlie, and our vows to each other made the experience feel very sacred and special. The ceremony is truly the inflexion point between your separate lives and your life together as a married couple, and we both definitely felt that tangible shift through our vows and rituals. We used the unity candle from my parents’ wedding to make it extra special.
