Milford Kitchen

Satin finish laser edged MDF cabinetry brings a subtle warmth without overwhelming the space, while the crisp white surfaces reflect natural light throughout the day. Every element was considered to enhance flow, storage, and everyday use, resulting in a space that feels effortless, calm, and built to last.

The flat-panel doors create a seamless, modern profile, complemented by crisp white surfaces and natural timber flooring for balance. For our Torbay, North Shore project, we used treated Douglas Fir for the vanity doors to bring warmth, strength, and long-term durability into the space.

Douglas Fir is valued for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, stability, and distinctive grain pattern, making it ideal for both structural and decorative use. Its natural reddish-brown tone adds depth and character, while treatment enhances moisture resistance — perfect for a bathroom setting.

Paired with Taj Mahal natural stone, the result is a rustic yet calming aesthetic that feels refined, grounded, and built to last.
