I remember the first time I was asked to do a building concept for a reclad, I had no ideas what plans and details I had to do. The first consent I sent, came back with heaps of RFIs (Request For Information), mostly asking more details specific to the project and not just a copy paste from the manufacturer website, which was understandable. This constant back and forth made the consent process so long, I never knew what the council might ask next. But now they have released a great guide for reclad building consent and one section show a list of common areas requiring weather tight detailing. So I decided to make all those details in 3D! And here’s # 1 and 2 “Cladding Clearance”.
