Mapu Maia is very proud to have been part of the POPO Internship Programme for yet another year.

Over the past 10 weeks, we have been inspired by the growth, enthusiasm, and dedication shown by our interns - Jeremiah, Adele, and Chantelle. A huge thank you for the valuable contributions made within our organisation.

We also acknowledge the POPO Team for this programme which is for our people, by our people, fostering meaningful learning and mentorship environments. We are honoured to play a role in supporting the development of the next generation of changemakers across Aotearoa.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make in the future!

AFFIRM 2025 was buzzing in Aranui this past Saturday! 💙

Our Mapu Maia team loved being part of the action, connecting with whānau, sharing support, and celebrating the amazing talent and heart of this community.
Wainoni Park came alive with performances, kai, kids’ activities, and community stalls. At our stall, we had great conversations and shared info about gambling harm and the support available for individuals and whānau.
A day full of talanoa, laughter, and connection. Fa’afetai tele lava to everyone who showed us love, and to Aranui Community Trust for making it all happen! ✨
