Our Winter School Holiday Programme (July 6 - 17) is just around the corner, and it’s shaping up to be another jam-packed two weeks of creativity, fun, and adventure! 🎨🎬✨

From exciting theme days and specialist art workshops to movie trips and plenty of opportunities to make new friends, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Whether your child loves getting creative, trying something new, or simply having fun during the holidays, we’ve got a fantastic programme lined up.

On Saturday 13 June, come along for an introduction to metalsmithing. Perfect for beginners, this guided workshop will take you through designing, cutting, texturing, polishing, and patinating copper to create your own beautiful earring and pendant set.

We have an exciting new exhibition opening this Saturday!

Vessels by the Manurewa Potters Club

The art of forming vessels for functional use is one of humanity’s oldest inventions. Vessels have been essential for everyday food preparation, storage and liquid containment for over twenty thousand years.

Throughout the centuries the ‘vessel’ has also been a vehicle for expressing ethnicity, beauty, diversity and craftsmanship. This exhibition explores the meaning of ‘vessel’, ranging from purely functional to totally abstract, from simplicity of form though
to expressive sculptural pieces.

The works presented in this exhibition are all created by members of MPC (Manurewa Potters Club). The club has held a space and a community for working with clay for over 50 years. These vessels reflect MPC’s multicultural collective.

Join us for the opening at 10am, Saturday, 9 May in the Upstairs Gallery at Nathan Homestead Pukepuke (70 Hill Road, Manurewa)

The exhibition will be on display until 20 June 2026.

Join us from Monday 4th May for this term's evening sessions and craft your own personalised jewellery 🔨💍

Open to both beginners and experienced makers, you’ll design your own projects and bring them to life under the guidance of jeweller Renee Bevan.

(A $40 materials pack is available to purchase on the first day).
