Yesterday CG met with Hon. MP Carmel Sepuloni, Hon. MP Priyanca Radhakrishnan, Hon. MP Jenny Salesa, and Hon. MP Vanushi Walters at the Chancery today.

They had meaningful discussion on India–New Zealand relations. There was a good exchange of ideas on how to promote relationship in fields of trade, tourism, culture etc. The discussions focused on their perspectives, policy priorities, and future goals for enhancing cooperation with India.

CG was pleased to meet Mr. Eric Barrett, Founder of Pastorl, an innovative New Zealand digital platform focused on student/worker wellbeing.

The discussion centred on the importance of leveraging technology to enhance the welfare and support of workers, including mechanisms for early intervention, regular wellbeing check-ins, and improved communication. CG appreciated learning about Pastorl's innovative approach and exchanged views on the role of digital solutions in promoting safe, inclusive, and supportive workplaces.

The meeting reflected a shared interest in exploring innovative approaches that contribute to the wellbeing of Indian communities and students.
