Freedom Mobility
ποΈ We made it to More FM's Breakfast Club
How cool is this?! Our very own Ange recently gave Lana from More FM a hands-on lesson in adaptive driving, and we had an absolute blast doing it. π
At Freedom Mobility, we're all about breaking down barriers and showing Kiwis that life doesn't slow down. Whether you're behind the wheel for the first time with hand controls or upgrading your vehicle setup, we're here to make it happen.
A huge thank you to the team at More FM for shining a spotlight on what we do. This is exactly why we love our mahi. β€οΈ

June is Men's Health Month, and one of the things we don't talk about enough is how much an injury or disability can affect a man's sense of independence and identity.
For a lot of the men we work with, losing the ability to drive wasn't just an inconvenience. It changed how they felt about themselves. It meant asking for help. It meant relying on others in ways they weren't used to.
Getting back behind the wheel, on their own terms, changed that.
You don't have to figure it out alone. We're here. π

This week is Samoan Language Week, a time to celebrate the richness of Samoan culture and the vibrant Pasifika community right here in Aotearoa.
To our Pasifika customers, whΔnau, and friends, we see you, we value you, and we're proud to support your independence on the road.

We've heard some great work stories over the years, but this one might just take the cake.
Our very own Julia recently opened up a car bonnet at work and found a tiny kitten tucked inside. π±
She didn't think twice. She took little Romona home, nursed her back to full health, and found her the perfect forever home, with her brother-in-law.
This is the kind of team we are. We show up for people (and apparently kittens) when it matters most.

MS can make driving a standard car impossible, but that doesn't mean driving has to stop altogether.
For many people living with multiple sclerosis, modified vehicles with hand controls or adaptive features are what stand between them and independence. The ability to get to work. To see their family. To go where they need to go, when they need to go there.
Today is World MS Day π and we want every New Zealander living with MS to know this option exists.
We hire modified vehicles by the day, no long-term commitment, no pressure. Just a conversation about what you need.
