Ambergris - The most controversial mysterious substance in the Vegan World!

For someone who do not know about ambergris, they are first thought as s***m whale's vomit. Modern scientists later confirm that "it's formed in the lower regions of the animal in the intestines and/or bowel."

AND do not let the description disgusts you away from this object!!!

AMBERGRIS is known for the most expensive scent in the world with their smell being describe as "'humid, earthy, faecal, marine, algoid, tobacco-like, sandalwood-like, sweet, animal, musky and radiant".

And the reason I said that it's controversial object due to the substance being produced from S***m Whale.
For vegan community, it's sound not vegan-friendly, is it? And in the past, the whales were often caught and killed for this substance.
However, nowadays, the ambergris is collected as ocean waste and not actually removed from the animal. So is it suitable for vegan users?
