On the 1st of April, 30 people Jumped to the Rescue for the SPCA AUCKLAND They experienced the thrill of a 13,000 ft. tandem skydive while raising vital funds for Auckland's abused, unwanted and unloved animals.

They reached speeds of up to 200kph during an exhilarating 45 seconds of freefall before the parachute opened and they enjoyed the breathtaking views as they floated gracefully back to earth.

This year the SPCA AUCKLAND had an amazing 93 participants register to run. The money raised goes towards helping over 15,000 animals in need in Auckland each year.

Will you jump out of a plane for Auckland's animals this April?

I won't, but I'll be heading up to Parakai next weekend to cheer everyone on and videoing the event!

The amazing participation of the jumpers will pay for SPCA inspectors to attend and investigate animal welfare complaints right across Auckland. Protecting animals and ensuring that they get the food, shelter, love and care that they deserve.
