What’s happening on Carrington Road? A user guide for NW path users too! ⛏️

TLDR; a Very Big Project that will be ongoing until the end of 2027. The NW crossing is changing, keep your wits about you. If you ride along Carrington, use alternative routes if possible.

Carrington Road is being dug up.

If you are a Northwestern Path user, chances are you will have crossed Carrington Road. This crossing has moved - you now turn north toward the peninsula to cross. Take extra care as the new layout is new to motorists too.

Or you may use the cycleway that runs along Carrington Road. The road is a mess, and will be for a long time.
