Malaysian Airlines excited to announce that effective Wednesday 12 March, They will begin transitioning their flights between Auckland and Kuala Lumpur to the brand new Airbus A330-900 neo aircraft. Initially 4 of the 8 non-stop flights will operate with the new 330 neo aircraft. With delivery of the 3rd aircraft (of an initial order of 20) all flights between Auckland and Kuala Lumpur will be operated by the Airbus A330neo , tentatively targeted for mid to late April.
