I have had my head down for two school terms teaching drama and creating a story about the history of Te Wao Nui a Tiriwa. Over the last two nights the tamariki performed their story on the stage for their whanau. The first school production at the school in over 30 years! Most of their thank you cards talk about how their confidence has been boosted and how grateful they were for the opportunity... Such an honour and a privilege to deliver this mahi. Forever grateful 🙏

Why am I so excited?! I'll tell you! After many years of assisting on this show I am now proud to be out front presenting the English language version of the Sailor Asthma Show to tamariki across Aotearoa. In this role I get to teach children about asthma, how to manage an asthma emergency and how they can help themselves or someone else. Not only that but I get to sing songs written by my amazingly talented friend and renowned children's musician,
This is such important mahi and I'm honoured to be a part of delivering the message on behalf of the Asthma and Respiratory Foundation of NZ.
And THAT is why I'm so excited!!
