This morning as Ps Steven was packing the trailer for the pastors holiday trip, a fledgling thrush hopped on to his back, and then his shoulder. It stayed there for a while chatted away, and then hopped into the house. Ps Sylvia held him and took him back outside. He hopped on to Ps Steven 2 more times (3 times in all) ... God's little messenger 😊

Our Christmas Celebration this year was very relaxing under gazebos at the Pastors' home with family and friends. Following the Christmas Carols, Ps Steven preached a message on Jesus stepping down into humanity.
We enjoyed games of pass the parcel. Amazingly Manoj and one of the children won 3 tines in a row.
After that it was food time and more games including bean bag toss and table tennis

Christmas Carol Service at the Resthome where we minister fortnightly. Friends from Aglow joined us to sing the carols and Ps Steven preached about Jesus' name, Emmanuel, God with us. The residents enjoyed the Christmas Carols which were familiar to them, and sang along with us. A lovely time

Happy Fathers Day to the Dads, Grandads, Step-Dads, Foster-Dads, Spiritual Dads and Men in general.
Many blessings on you all, today.
Your role matters whether you have children or not.
And for those of you who have experienced the loss or absence of your father or husband, may God, the Father of the fatherless and Defender of widows (& solo mums), comfort you at this time, strengthen you, and bring back warm memories.

Our Mother & Daughter Banquet yesterday, Saturday, June 14, 2025, was enjoyed by all who attended. Our theme was "The King's daughter is all glorious within; her clothing is interwoven with gold." (Psalm 45:13)
We had 2 speakers:
- Pravina shared a very moving and encouraging testimony
&
- Akesa Beratabua was our Guest Speaker.
Her message was very impactful. She encouraged the ladies to pass on their values to the next generations.
One of the things she shared was about celebrating the inner beauty across generations; honoring the God-given beauty within every mother and daughter. As an activity she encouraged the mothers to tell their daughters the glorious qualities they see in them; and vice versa.
All in all, it was a wonderful day!
